Above is my concept to sink this pH neutral cement “Diver UP” in the seas and construct a home for marine life. Over the years, living coral and sea plants will grow on this sculpture and morph it’s original shape. Thus a robust habitation of fish and posidonia will grow to enhance this beautiful scuba and snorkle underwater ART site.

For this project we are looking for donors to fund this project. All donors will have their names placed on a bronze plaque that will be positioned on the sculpture, and which will forever join their names with the island of Ibiza and the Mediterranean.

During the past 20+ years Victor Spinelli has split his time between New York, the Mediterranean and California. The photography skills and artistry that he developed along his travels have evolved into several multimedia platforms such as film, commercials, music videos, documentaries and print campaigns. Globetrotting though about 80 countries led Victor to Mykonos, Greece where he first started making a living on his photography for three summers. After which, Victor was drawn to another island in the Mediterranean: Ibiza, Spain. While in Ibiza, he was brought on board by Manumission, a surreal theatrical clubbing party, to document the inside of its production. Many of his photographs captured the “Fellini-esque” happenings of Manumission and have gone down in Ibiza lore. Victor now resides in Ibiza full time and is soundly immersed in his art that has evolved into painting, ceramics, screen writing, graphic novels and of course sculpture.
